How to Improve Spiritual Health: Spiritual Wellness & Your Ideal Self
Everything is energy. That’s what physics asserts; so do the mystics. Our bodies are energy. Improving our spiritual health affects our bodily health. This is a matter of fact, not opinion. Nikola Tesla — widely believed to be the greatest scientist who has ever lived — said:
“The day science begins to study non-physical phenomena, it will make more progress in one decade than in all the previous centuries of its existence.”
Your Body is Made Up of Energy: Spiritual Wellness is at its Core
We are energy. Our greatest scientists, like Einstein, have proven that the intense potential that exists within energy is far more powerful than any physical force we have ever known. Improving our spiritual health & wellness is crucial to uncovering our inner ability to heal and grow. The atomic bomb is quite simply the release of power within atoms. Allegorically, and quite literally, the same potential for creative (or destructive) power lies within every cell of your body.
Science has been slow to take Tesla up on his advice. In the complex realm of quantum physics (a non-physical realm, like Tesla spoke of, where science does study what is at play creating physical matter) we are still sifting through the baffling reality physicists have found in the world of energy. Science is far from understanding the laws and principals that govern that world, but what we’ve witnessed lay at that core or existence, quantum mechanics, pays enormous credence to what mystics & spiritual wellness doctrines have been vowing since the dawn of time.
The laws of energy could explain our greatest mysteries in physics, like how the placebo effect “considered to be a psychological phenomenon”, works (Medical News Today).
Robert Buckman, clinical oncologist and professor of medicine, explains how potent simple suggestion is in the case of placebo medical treatment.
“Placebos are extraordinary drugs. They seem to have some effect on almost every symptom known to mankind, and work in at least a third of patients and sometimes in up to 60 percent. […] In short, they hold the prize for the most adaptable, protean, effective, safe and cheap drugs in the world’s pharmacopeia.” (Oxford University Press)
What the research on placebos unanimously shows is our body’s propensity for “self-cure” is … arguably … limitless.
The explanations for how and why a belief can create dramatic physical responses (to the majority of people) vary. The fact remains: our bodies, our systems, our hormones, our metabolism is all at the mercy of what we feel, think, or direct our consciousness to, ie. our spiritual health.
The greater the focus, the greater the affect. Spiritual wellness focusses our beliefs on what’s true: we are good, we are whole and our bodies are capable of anything.
How to Improve Spiritual Health to Manage Weight
We should be teaching kids how to improve spiritual health in schools. It’s that important. There are some hard-hitting facts connecting your mental-emotional wellbeing and your health as a whole (Everyday Health, US Dept. of Health). I am not going to pretend I know exactly how they work, no one can, all I can account for is that they do. I do not and will not present ideas or theories that are not backed by peer-reviewed data like other ‘miracle cures’. I don’t need to, the world has enough scientifically verifiable ‘magic’ in it to give even the biggest cynic a burst of childish wonder if they’d allow it to enter their consciousness. That is the key to unleashing your power: being exposed to it, allowing your awareness to be turned, to the ‘magic’ within you.
The one way placebo works is by being given the ‘magic’, turning your attention towards the possibility of healing, via verifiable information. The therapies I use far surpass the efficacy of placebo (any treatment must surpass the placebo effect to be ratified by scientific data) but opening to the potency of “self-cure” plays a role in our courses, and it’s much easier when guided.
Opening to reality (the reality that you are completely capable of healing your entire wellbeing) that says ideal health, your ideal body, is your nature, requires some guidance if you are currently off course.
Spiritual practices play a massive role in attuning you to the quiet perfect body nature within.

In the spirit of good science, I am currently testing my Ideal Body Composition: Comprehensive under the hardest circumstances and in the shortest amount of time. I get one week with each District to develop each Personal Power in a third of the time (each District develops a Personal Power over 3 weeks in the program).
I am also putting it to the ultimate test by experimenting with it in real time (each week the results are publicized) while under the biggest pressures to weight loss known to us! I am travelling, meeting up with my partner for the first time in months, we are celebrating, drinking, eating out every meal and I have no possibility of keeping a schedule or going to a gym, I am not even guaranteed to have space in my room to do my Body MODIs (the gentle physical therapies) included in the program!

SELF-CARE/SELF-LOVE: Emotions System — Results (Journal Entry)
District #2: OK. I failed. I put love of my partner and fun ahead of love for myself. Although there’s little reason to work or invest in oneself if you cannot rejoice and share your loving kindness with others… balance must exist or the whole machine topples over. I started emotionally eating to make up for my guilt and realized: I’d totally and utterly failed.
What I learned was it doesn’t matter if I put off caring for myself — I can’t care for others optimally until I do what I need to do first. So I failed, I have no progress to show, I had a great time, but I also stressed and felt an immense amount of guilt while I shrugged off my responsibilities. All in all it was a mistake. However, sometimes we fail. That’s just the way life goes. But we don’t need that to be the final word. In fact, the only constant is change.
The tools in the program pulled me out of my emotional funk and put me back on the right track (where I can love everyone better and enjoy my time more)!

This week we move on to the Energetic Frequency district. I am taking with me what I learned last week during the Emotions System district: to love myself better and put my needs first. I actually really love doing the practices. And you should too. Health is self care & that should be fun.
